The Origin Story. Launched in 2009, the project has always been about connection. It has taken different forms over the years, but the heart of it remains the same - sharing music with friends. We’ve played the Water Street Music Hall, Johnny’s Irish Pub, the Rochester Fringe Festival and countless breweries, venues and private events across upstate NY. These days, I’m continuing the story as a solo artist—exploring original music and reimagining covers through an acoustic lens. Whether it’s at a brewery or a private gig, every Mansfield Ave show is built on connection, storytelling, and songs played from the heart.

Why Mansfield Avenue? Mansfield Avenue was the street I lived on during college at the University of Vermont. Between writing songs with my roommate Gary Sidell (an incredible keyboardist), singing with the UVM Top Cats, and playing in a classic rock bar band, it was a den of creativity. Years later, I found out that our longtime drummer, Kim Abell, also went to UVM—and lived just a few blocks away on Mansfield Ave. It is a small world……..
